I am currently training for the Lost Dutchman Marathon.
Yesterday (Sunday Jan 13th) I ran 14 miles on the S. River trail with another group from the running club. They are training for the Austin Marathon which is the same weekend. We ran around a 9:00 pace. Saturday I ran 6 miles with the Oklahoma City Marathon training group. That was their first training run, so I used it for a tempo run. I am following the Furman first to finish program and it called for me to do a 6 mile run at a 7:50 pace. I felt good after both runs. So good that it makes me wonder am I peaking right now. But I hope it's just me getting into shape.
After the marathon I'm going to run my first 50 miler.
